DESCRIPTION:
Along the Northern Oregon Coast, you will find old-growth forests, pristine beaches, majestic capes and stunning views. Wander in the footsteps of Lewis and Clark as you explore the beach and majestic Haystack Rock. Have lunch in Cannon Beach and browse in the many quaint stores and shops. Pass through a preserved old-growth forest on the way to Ecola state park and hike out to view the sea lions and seabirds.
In the spring and fall, you might be lucky enough to see migrating whales. All of this is included in Oregon Tour Co.’s trip to the northern Oregon beaches. You will be picked up in the morning at your hotel in downtown Portland or designated location, transported to the coast to spend the day exploring and be returned in the late afternoon.

FUN FACT:
Cannon Beach is actually named for the cannons found in the surf that washed up as a result of an American warship running aground in the early 1800’s!

This tour leaves from downtown Portland at 9 AM and returns at approxamately 5 PM.
